Yes, we had a field trip with our SAHM group. We took a tour of a local fire station. AB loved the truck and kept trying to climb in it. Since we did this in the morning, we switched our schedule around. School took place in the afternoon. Baby B joined us in school. But I kept him in a playpen with his toys. Our classroom is not very baby friendly. I needed to show AB her new trays and didn't want Baby B to get into anything. I realized, a lot of our trays this week are fine motor and math activities. I may have to adjust some things and add letter practice.
I had Baby B in the Ergo, just in case we were going to be climbing any stairs. I wanted to be hands free and not have to worry about a stroller. So I snapped this shot of him...luckily, he made it in the shot!
Last week, I only had five golf tees; now I have fifteen!
These came in the mail the other day. They are little shape puzzles but they pieces can also be laced. We didn't do that today, but I showed her. The string is on the tray. Maybe tomorrow. I really enjoy products by Lauri Toys. We have several of their toys.
She is actually holding a green bear and giving it hugs. She is also saying "oh green bear"..like comforting it.
Still working on ABAB patterns. These are unifix cubes
Baby B with a sensory bottle. He is making music with it by hitting it with his hand.
I got these things at the science center a few weeks ago. She things they are really cool.
She said "pretty"
She found the bag of felt that still needs to be cut. I've had it for months and still haven't finished cutting.
