We've had a super busy summer that included A LOT of time in the car. But it has given AB the opportunity to see so much! If you are on my FB, then you've seen all the things she's been doing.
But we have made it back to school. These are pics from the last week of August and today. We missed last week because Grandma and Grandpa were in town.
I'm going to take pictures of this calendar book I made for AB and my new lesson plan format I'm working off of.
Interesting fact: Besides that AB uses the letter N in words that begin with M (Nickey Mouse, Nore instead of more, nusic instead of music), she also can't say 13 or the numbers in the 30's. That TH is hard. But she can say 3. So not sure about that.
She has quite a bit of trouble with patterns. We've been doing them for a long time, but its a concept she can't quite grasp.
Throw the letter dice and say the letter sound for what ever letter comes up.
Pentominoes! I had these in my 3rd and 4th grade classroom when I was a teacher. I copied the cheat sheet onto card stock and then laminated the little cards. Then it shows her how to do it. She still has to find the pieces and manipulate them turning, flipping, and sliding them into the right place. HAHA...those are words we taught in 4th grade math.
