So much got accomplished today and I'm a little in awe about it still. My friend called and said I needed to get to the Dollar Tree to get some educational material. Geezzz...so much stuff! Did they have all that when I was teaching in the elementary school? After leaving with a cart full of workbooks, books, art supplies, ect...we headed over to the library. AB had a nice time listening to the books. She most enjoyed "123 To the Zoo" by Eric Carle. We own that book and read it often.
After the library, we ate lunch at the park with friends and played. For January, we are having some awesome temps. Today it was around 60 degrees and only a light breeze. Perfect! AB is fearless when it comes to climbing the structures and the ladders. It frightens me. On top of that, she is turning two next month and she thinks she can go off without mom. Too brave me!
And now this evening, I have switched around two rooms in our home to prepare for tot school. We turned the playroom into a bedroom and playroom and AB's old room into the classroom. It's the smallest bedroom, but enough space for our needs. I will post pics after I get it set up. The main goal tonight, was to get her new room put together. I'm hoping the toys won't keep her from sleeping. In her old room, the small room, she only had her bed and dresser. It took us forever to get her to bed tonight. But I'm sure it was because she was excited that Kansas State University was playing in the Cotton Bowl tonight. Go Cats!
