Ok, so i'm not student teaching again, but it sure does feel like it. Tonight I was busy getting AB's activities ready for the week and it reminded me of all the work I had to do when I was getting my degree. All the cutting, laminating, and then cutting again...endless busy work. But it has to get done by someone and that someone, is me.
Confession, I had forgotten how I like the smell of the laminating machine.
We won't be in our new classroom tomorrow. Andy worked today and didn't put the shelves together. One might ask, " why don't you just do it?". And I would gladly do it, if I weren't afraid that a little girl would take off with one of my screws! She's a tricky one. The classroom door has been shut, so AB won't go in and mess with all the art supplies. I am actually surprised she hasn't gone in, as she is a master at opening and closing our doors.
And lastly, we meet up with some friends today at our local science museum. AB loves going there. Our yearly pass is money well spent. Sometimes people think that their kids are too young for things. But I think, expose them early to the good stuff. Why not?
*I am typing this from my iPad. If I had a newer iPad, I could take a quick pic of the activities I made tonight and show all of you. But since I don't, there will be no pic tonight.*
*yes, the hubby did just read the above sentences. I'm hoping to brainwash him*.
